1. Service description

Auryth TX is an AI-powered legal research platform for tax professionals. The Service provides natural language querying of Belgian tax legislation, administrative guidelines, case law, and doctrine, with source citations and confidence scoring.

The Service is a research aid. It does not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice. Users are responsible for independently verifying all information provided by the Service before relying on it in professional practice.

2. Account and subscription

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at sign-up.
A 14-day free trial is available. No payment information is required for the trial.

3. Plans and credits

Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits are consumed per query, with costs varying by complexity tier.
Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
Credit limits are approximate. A 10% overage buffer is permitted before access is restricted.
Plan features (seats, projects, API access) are defined per plan tier.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (our Merchant of Record). Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax collection, and refunds on our behalf.

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Paddle will add VAT or other sales taxes where required.
For annual plans, the full amount is charged upfront.

5. Founding member pricing

Founding member pricing is available to the first 50 subscribers and is locked for 12 months from the date of sign-up.
After the founding period, standard pricing applies. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to generate advice for end clients without professional review.
Attempt to extract, scrape, or bulk-download the underlying legal corpus.
Share account credentials or circumvent usage limits.
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.

7. Personal document library

You may upload documents to your personal library for use in queries.
Uploaded documents are stored securely and isolated per user.
We do not access, read, or use your uploaded documents for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its underlying technology are owned by Auryth.
Query responses are generated outputs based on public legal sources. We do not claim ownership of the generated text.
The underlying legal corpus (legislation, case law, administrative guidelines) remains in the public domain.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.
In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms with 14 days notice, or immediately in cases of abuse.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
