Our story
Auryth grew out of a frustration we knew from our own work.
Our founding team spent years in regulated professions (tax advisory, accounting and enterprise consulting), where a wrong answer has real consequences. We know what it is like to spend an hour in dense legislation, cross-checking circulars and looking up rulings in scattered government databases, and still be only 90% sure of the answer.
We also have a technical background. When we tested general-purpose AI on real professional questions, we saw what any experienced practitioner would see: confident answers that were wrong in ways that are easy to miss.
The answers relied on outdated rules, mixed up jurisdictions, missed exceptions and cited no sources.
So we built a research tool that works through the sources the way a professional would, and keeps track of which rules changed and when.
We started with Belgian tax law, one of the most complex fiscal systems in Europe. The same research engine now also answers on Belgian real-estate and notarial law and on UK and EU tariff classification. And because many professionals also use general AI tools, Auryth Pseudo replaces their clients' names and personal data before a document goes to one.

Most tools today
Enhanced search engines
They take a question in plain language, run a search and return documents, sometimes with an AI summary on top. That is useful, but it is still search.
What research takes
Structured reasoning with sources
Research means knowing which sources outrank others and when a rule was replaced, and saying so when two sources contradict each other.
When professional liability and client trust are at stake, a relevant document is not enough. You need to know which source has authority, and that is the problem we work on.
Our approach
Most AI tools sound just as sure when they are wrong as when they are right. We think that is dangerous.
Confidence scores
Every answer carries a confidence score, with the reasons behind it.
Visible sources
You can see which sources an answer used, how they were ranked and why some provisions were set aside.
Your judgment first
When the evidence is thin, the answer says so and leaves the decision to you.
Where we work
The research products run on one engine, and each reads its own library of primary sources for its field. Auryth Pseudo is different. It protects documents on their way to a general AI tool.
